The most pious and devout of the Church receive the blessing of chemical communion, an experimental merging of the flesh and blood of a Meta-Christ with their own genomes. These Communicant Anti-Tank Hunters transcend mortal biology, granted divine power and immense strength. Trained to wield advanced anti-materiel rifles, massive portable ordnance capable of punching through the thickest steel as if it were paper, they carry out the Church’s will with unmatched precision. Tank-Hunters are viewed as priority threats by the enemies of the Church, though their divinely enriched blood bestows upon them miraculous healing properties allowing them to shrug off all but the most destructive of enemy fire.
