The Sultan’s Janissaries are elite soldiers, forged through alchemical rites and a lifetime of relentless martial training. On the battlefield they excel at devastating counter-charges, crushing the enemy’s formations with deadly precision. Each Janissary bears the strength of many lesser mortals, wielding swords and shields with practiced ease and capable of hefting siege jezzails and swinging colossal greatswords sharp enough to cleave a mighty beast of Shaytan in twain.
